My April Reads

So far, I’ve had really great luck picking novels in April! These were the three books I enjoyed the most, for your reading pleasure.

An American Marriage: I devoured this novel. I won’t give away too much, but it’s basically about a man who is incarcerated shortly after his wedding, and tried to keep his marriage alive. There is a reason it’s been called one of the top novels of the decade.

King of Torts: I really like most John Grisham novels, and this was no exception. It follows the story of a tort lawyer who suddenly becomes massively successful, and struggles with the ups and downs of fame amidst a legal battle. Don’t worry, theres not too much legal jargon and its a real page-turner!

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: What a fun read! Its quick, engaging, and hilariously written. There are lots of great golden nuggets to take away from this book; I highly recommend sitting down with a glass of wine and having a good laugh with this one.
